NSK Thrust ball bearings are separable. The shaft washer, housing washer can be mounted from the cage and balls. Shaft washers is matched with shaft, and housing washer is matched with housing. There is clearance between the housing washer and shaft.  Thrust ball bearings can only carry the axial loads.  Sinale row thrust ball beairngs accommodate the axial loads in a direction, and double row thrust ball bearings can carry axial loads in two directions. Thrust ball bearings can not resist the shaft from radial displacement, and have lower limited speed. The single row thrust ball bearings can resist the shaft from axial displacement relative to housing in a direction, and the double row bearings can resist from axial displacement in two directions.
